Give

At St. Paul’s we contribute to the life and work of the church in many different ways – giving time, skills and energy. One other way is financial – giving as a response to the God who has blessed us so much. Giving financially enables the mission and ministries at St. Paul’s to happen such as our work with children and young people, our CAP centre (debt management), and supporting mission locally and across the world. Read on to find out how to give.

You may make regular or one-off financial gifts in the following ways:

Cheques

Cheques can be made payable to ‘St Paul’s PCC’ and be sent to the Church Office.

Give via ChurchSuite

Or give directly and securely using your debit or credit card via our ChurchSuite platform (please note there is a small transaction fee deducted from your gift)

If you are a church member you can click on My Giving in the ChurchSuite app to do the same. This also allows you to easily see how much you’ve given over the months and years.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer and would like us to claim Gift Aid on your giving, please complete, sign and return this form to finance@stpauls-stalbans.org or the church office. This allows St Paul’s Church to recover the basic rate of income tax, currently 25p for each pound given, from the government at no extra cost to you.

Serving

We recognise that not everyone is in a position to give financially and the gift of your time, talents, prayer and energy are just as important.

As with any family we all get involved in different ways to make church life happen, depending on where our lives are at and what we might be able to do. Serving on the various teams also gives us a chance to get to know others better. There are teams for welcoming & stewarding, teas & coffees, kids, tech teams, readers & leading intercessions, as well as many other areas you could help from baking to graphic design, giving lifts to providing meals.

If you are interested in serving in any way at St Paul’s, please get in touch with the office. We’d love to hear from you.
