Who we are

Welcome to St Paul’s Church, St Albans, a community whose purpose is to spread God’s Kingdom.

A warm welcome awaits you, whatever your age, background or previous experience of church. We are a lively church with over 400 people attending our three Sunday services, 8am, 10:30am, and 6:30pm, and aim to grow and equip people to be effective Christians in their daily life.

We are a charismatic evangelical church and part of the Church of England, St Albans Diocese, as well as the New Wine Network.

Where we are

What we do

About 200 adults and up to 100 children take part in our 10:30am Sunday service and we have a full programme of children's and young people's activities and a network of home groups.

We regularly run Alpha courses to introduce people to the Christian faith, Fully Alive for the ongoing journey, and a Marriage course to deepen people's marriages and relationships.

Through the work of The Lantern we aim to meet the personal, social and emotional needs of members of our community so that each individual can live life to the full.
