Youth Mission Trip 2019
A group of young people and leaders will be going to Uganda, East Africa to work with a charity called JENGA, see http://www.jengauganda.org. Approximate dates, subject to flights are 25 July – 9 August 2019. Please lookout for ways you can support this ‘once every three years’ opportunity with fundraising, practical offers and prayer!
Soul Survivor 2019
After an amazing summer 2018 with 50 in our overall group from St Paul’s (and St Mark’s and Christchurch) loving their time at Soul Survivor, we are already looking ahead to the 2019 dates for the sake of everyone’s summer planning. We will review with available leaders soon, but will either go to Week B (17-22nd August 2019) or Week C (23-28th August 2019). With the above Youth Mission Trip dates in mind, the later Week C dates might work better (even though we have always done Week B before), but we hope to be able to confirm soon. https://booking.soulsurvivor.com
Various midweek dates for small groups
We are attempting to put on more midweek small groups aimed specifically at boys / girls / sixth formers, to give further opportunity to invest into the lives of St Paul’s Youth. This may be to get into the Bible more, to address other topics for discipleship, or social times / meals together to share life, support and encourage one another. These dates will be communicated directly to the youth.
Various midweek dates for 1:1 meet ups
I am available as much as possible for young people who wish to meet up with me (or other leaders) for a 1:1 chat, perhaps over a hot chocolate after school either in the concourse at church or in a coffee shop (near church / in town / Quadrant etc).
