Our Vision

Our aim
To listen to God,
to enjoy Him
and do what He says.
St Paul’s – a community whose purpose is to spread God’s kingdom
- For people of all ages to become Christians and be equipped to bring people to Christ and transform society.
- For the spread of God’s kingdom through His manifest presence in us and through us.
1. Our first ministry is to God, therefore we worship with joy & gratitude.
- Our personal relationship with Him is our top priority.
2. Salvation frees us from the power of the devil (sin, lies, sickness & torment) & restores us to grow in his image.
- We want all to know they are more than "sinners saved by grace"; they are saints - sons & daughters of the King.
- We want all to be growing in knowing Bible truth and how to apply it – be able to hear God for ourselves as well as value prophetic insight.
- We want to grow and work as a body where there is unity and diversity.
- We want to strengthen family life and enable the next generation to catch the vision and build on it.
3. Every believer is a supernatural minister of the gospel of power whom signs & wonders should follow.
- All ministry flows from the prayer, "Thy kingdom come... on earth as it is in heaven."
- We recognize true authority in ministry is rooted in submission to God and being under the covering of the leadership.
- We want all the church to be equipped and live (as individuals or groups) to carry on the works of Jesus wherever they are.
- We recognize apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers are needed to equip the church to fulfil its ministry
4. We want to demonstrate God's grace, His unconditional love & transforming power, to everyone with whom we have contact.
- We want to be incarnational in our world, to impact for good both the parish, our city and other places where we work or have contacts; affecting individuals, groups, structures of society and promoting good stewardship of creation so that mercy and justice will reign.
- We want to play our part in the wider mission of the Church, and be a blessing to churches (whatever denomination) and mission agencies both locally and further afield.
