Service Times
At St Paul's, we welcome people as they are. Our services are informal and our dress is casual. We make no collection during any of our services, but a plate is left near the rear of the church for those who would like to make a donation.
Services are held each Sunday at:
8am Holy Communion (Traditional) - this service is based around using the Book of Common Prayer along with more traditional hymns
Our other Sunday services are based around an informal, contemporary style of worship led by a band and we like to encourage people to engage with worship in creative ways. Prayer and teaching from the bible play an important part and there is always an opportunity to have individual needs prayed for at the end of our services.
10.30am Morning Worship and Children's Sunday groups
- 1st Sunday in the month - All Age Service (no Children's Sunday groups), the worship group at this service includes children and youth
- 2nd & 4th Sundays - Holy Communion with groups for ages 0-14 years
- 3rd & 5th Sundays - Morning Prayer with groups for ages 0-14 years
All share in the first part of the service in church, then children and young people are invited to go to their own groups in the church halls.
We are concerned for the spiritual development of children of all ages, starting from the very youngest in Stepping Stones (0-2yrs). Parents are always welcome into the groups to both settle their children and to see what they are doing.
Children are also very welcome to remain in the church with their parents if preferred.
See also our Children and Youth pages.
6.30pm Informal Worship
- 1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays - Holy Communion
- 2nd & 4th Sundays - Evening Praise
This is also based around an informal and contemporary style and there is more opportunity to engage in extended worship and ministry.
You are welcome to join us at any of our services. Tea and coffe are served after the service at the back of the church.
We'd love to see you!
