The church building stands on the busy Hatfield Road, at the Blandford Road junction.
By car: from the M25
Leave the motorway at junction 22 and take the A1081 towards St Albans. On reaching the roundabout with the A414, take the 3rd exit. This is a continuation of the A1081, now called London Road. Go straight across the first roundabout and continue to the traffic lights, where you turn right into Drakes Drive. Go straight across a single mini-roundabout and also straight across a double mini-roundabout (the road at this point becomes Ashley Road). Continue until you reach another double mini-roundabout at a much larger junction. Here you turn left onto Hatfield Road. Continue along past Morrisons, a small park and a small parade of shops. St Paul's Church is a large church on the right-hand side opposite the cemetery.
We have very limited on-site parking but spaces are usually available on Hatfield Road. You can park alongside the church on Blandford Road, but please be considerate of our neighbours and avoid parking further up Blandford Road.
By train: St Albans mainline station is located about 0.5 miles from St Paul's Church. This has regular rail links with London (Kings Cross - Thameslink). Coming out of the station you turn left, then at the junction (opposite the park) turn right onto Hatfield Road. Continue along Hatfield Road, heading away from the town centre, crossing over the crossroads at the traffic lights and St Paul's is the first church you come to on the lefthand side of the road (opposite the cemetery).
