Youth group on Wednesday nights 7.45-9:15pm

For: School years 10+

Deep is the main evening of the week for older youth who want to go deeper in their journey with God. We aim to create an atmosphere where young people belong and feel valued and at home. The evening features worship, talks, discussion, small group time, prayer and more, in a fun interactive setting! We always aim to be addressing topics and running series, which are relevant and helpful to our young people’s needs.

Deep is on a Wednesday evening, with this midweek input complementing the 6.30pm evening church service on Sundays, which youth are also encouraged to come to. Throughout the year we regularly have other events/socials, trips to local worship events, weekend away opportunities and a big summer trip!

So there is loads going on to help the young people’s relationships with God and with each other to really go deep.

Our church and the leadership’s heart is for your young people to be immersed in church life, to develop their faith for life, to benefit from and contribute to St Paul’s church family and God’s global church. To enable this immersive culture we want to provide fellowship midweek and encourage our young people to participate in and find value in church services.  Many already serve in kids groups / worship teams, but we would love to encourage more youth engagement at the 6.30pm evening service too.

Content, format, depth will all be similar, just on a Wednesday instead of Sunday (and slightly earlier as midweek).  We will also be encouraging the youth to come and get involved with the morning and evening services on a Sunday, knowing that they have so much to bring as the church of the present as well as the future.  We believe this maximises the opportunities we are able to offer them as a church to develop their faith, thrive in the church community and be best prepared for their futures beyond their St Paul’s Youth years.

** Please consider coming as families sometimes on Sunday evenings if able to and note there will be space after the service for youth to hangout, socialise, chat and pray ahead of the new week.
