Building Project
St. Paul’s has had big changes to the church and the halls and this work was completed in September 2010.
The aims of the Building Project were:
- To extend and improve our hall facilities to accommodate Sunday and midweek groups and community activities (including a new Youth Zone)
- To update and improve kitchens, toilets and access
- To provide more office space and a reception area
- For all this to be provided in a welcoming environment, integrating halls and church in an open design. Entry to the church will be from a central concourse, and the church layout will be turned round 180°
In line with our policy on all giving, 15% of donations to the project are being put into a “Mission tithe” to be given to other projects taking forward God’s work in the UK and abroad.
If you have any queries on the project, please speak to a member of the Building Group (Marion Brown, Jim Wright, Judith Jackson, Martin Marriott) or to any member of PCC.
To make a donation to the Building Project, please email Lindsey McLeod, Treasurer (treasurer@stpauls-stalbans.org).
