There are many situations when you might experience a loss and need time to talk things through. We have recently expanded the existing Bereavement Listening Group to provide a confidential ‘Listening service’ for anyone who is experiencing any sort of loss. We hope this can provide an opportunity for you to take control of the situation and help to make sense of things. We are all trained ‘listeners’ who will give you time and space to talk. Having someone to talk to who is independent often provides an opportunity to say things you may not be able to say to a relative or close friend. The listener will visit you in your home, or a place you feel comfortable, and the listening session will be for about one hour. The number and frequency of subsequent visits can vary according to need.

If you would like to make use of this service, please call us via St Paul’s church office on 01727 846281, leaving your name and phone number, and someone from the group will contact you. There is no charge for this service.
