Coffee and play for Mums, Dads, Carers and Babies (bumps, newborns and babies up until walking). We meet in Garden Room 1 from 10 – 11.30am on Thursdays in term time.
A community of young people in St Paul’s aiming to encourage friendships, deepen faith and demonstrate the church family to the wider community. We are fortunate to have Rainbow, Brownie and Guide packs that are based at St Paul’s. They attend two services a year and many church families are involved with the groups. Explorers is for school years 3 – 6, children aged 7-11 (>25 on the register with about 15 weekly). We have an informal atmosphere with a slightly more mature feel to help the transformation to youth. Climbers is for children from their second term of reception, through years 1 and 2 (>30 on the register, about 15 weekly). Scramblers is our Sunday group for children who are 3 years old until they have settled into their first half term of Reception (>30 on the register, about 20 weekly). We have playtime, storytime, creative time and singing and dancing. We enjoy worship with voices, instruments or actions or all three and prayer with each more »
Tumblers is for children who can toddle around unaided until they turn 3 years old (>20 on the register, 10 – 15 each week). The children have 40 minutes of free play with ride on toys, colouring, playdough, trains, dressing up, dolls, books, puzzles and even a slide and trampoline! During this time the leaders more »
Stepping Stones is our group for babies until they are confidently walking (> 20 on the register, about 10 weekly) and meets in Garden Room 1. A typical session includes 40 minutes free play during which the leaders get to know children better and pray for them and their families. Then they join with Tumblers more »
Tots is a hugely popular baby, toddler and preschool group which meets on Friday mornings during term time from 9.30 – 11am.We fill two rooms with a wide variety of different toys and provide a craft activity as well as snacks and drinks for children and adults (including proper coffee!). During the 10.30am Sunday service, we run groups for children aged 0-11. For the first 15 minutes or so the children stay in the main church service and join in the worship however they feel comfortable (ribbons and flags available front left) before heading out to their groups.
