6:30pm Informal Worship
An informal service that starts with an extended period of worship. Each week we make time to listen to God, experience the Holy Spirit’s ministry, hear relevant teaching and intercede in prayer for our town, nation and the world. Every other week we celebrate Holy Communion. All this finishes at 8pm and there is always time afterwards to mingle and chat over tea and coffee.
The 6.30 service at St Paul’s is being re-launched this October.
We are going to be offering a meeting with contemporary worship and interactive teaching. This service will be accessible to young adults and youth while remaining relevant to all ages. In the first term we will be exploring core questions such as ‘what is church?’ “how to read the Bible?’, ‘how is God relevant to 21st century life?’ and ‘why do we worship?’ This service will be big on welcoming all, in particular those who want to experience Christianity in action.
