Why we're here...

Youth (here meaning those crazy years between your 11th and 19th birthdays) is an awesome time to be alive, but it comes with a raft of challenges, tensions and confusing life changes. The youth team at St. Paul's is here to help young people to get a real grounding in their faith as well as come to grips with the issues that surround them everyday.

Our mission is to

1. Love young people unconditionally, and

2. When they're ready, help them to build up a lifelong relationship with God.

What's on at St Paul's Youth?

Deep (Year 10+)

Want to go deeper into your faith? Deep is a more intimate evening of laughs, worship, talks and new "breakout groups" for discussing big issues in smaller groups- because that's where real growth happens. Join us at 8:15 for toast and chatting and 8:30pm for the main act.

Sunday nights: 8:15-9:30

Pathfinders (Year 7-9)

Pathfinders is faster, funner and somewhat louder than anything else at St Paul's on a Sunday morning, and it's open to everyone years 7-9! We always start with games or something ridiculous, but we also get to move into a time of discovering God wherever He is.

And did I mention the cake???

Sunday mornings: 10:30

Small Groups!

Life's awesome! But it can be painful sometimes too.

It's a great thing God puts people in our lives to help us through it!

With Small Groups, you have a chance every week to chat, share, pray for and grow with people you know. It's important everyone has a place where they can belong and be nourished, and a group of 5-10 people meeting every week is simply the best place for that to happen. The focus is support, not study, so a Bible study may or may not be there each week, but someone who cares will be.

We care that your group grows. That's why every small group offers spiritual food as well as the odd game night, baking session, and model building, BBQing, LaserQuesting activity times too!

It breaks down like this:

Year 9-11 Girls

Year 9-11 Guys

6th Form (Girls and Guys)

Come check it out! We all meet together and break up into our groups...

Wednesday nights: 8:00-9:30

News & Upcoming Events

Life moves fairly quickly at St Paul's. The website is great, but it just can't keep up with everything that's happening, so if you really want to have your finger on the pulse of what goes down, you'll really need to

Sign up to the weekly youth and parent newsletter by email:

noah@stpauls-stalbans.org

It comes every Friday, and it's well worth a read.

Bales

This is our mentoring programme for youth years 10+. Pretty soon, we'll have small group ministry happening at St Paul's every week. Until then, your Bale is a chance to meet in group with other young people and one leader from the church who will talk with you, text you, meet with you and support you in your walk in life and in the Christian faith.

Once small groups kick in, Bales will continue, but the emphasis will definitely be on the one-to-one chats with your Bale leader. If you'd like some extra support and encouragement in your faith, call Noah, and we'll get you in a Bale today!
